Zoniaweb.jpgThe yogic path found me 20 years ago. It has led me through many journeys and teachings to one inescapable, radiant fact: "We can heal ourselves." I am a living testament to this: I have self-cured from a brain tumor, broken back, displaced pelvis, ripped abdominal muscles, a twisted sacral joint, torn hip flexor and psoasis muscles, manic depression and a hair line fracture in my SI joint. I attribute my health and recovery to yoga.

How deeply into ourselves can we delve? Down to what particle and part? I believe this is the essence of yoga, to bring us into the core of ourselves, to allow the past to drip away, the future to blossom forth as a result of the seeds we plant today, and to learn how to surrender to this process with strength of silence and depth of trust. I do know and believe that we can change our entire being from, as they say in Bikram, "bones to skin".

It is my pleasure to incorporate the many branches of yoga that have changed my life including, Bikram, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Iyengar, Anusara, and Kundalini.

Esalen® massage is a slow-moving rhythmic massage that follows the breath and allows the receiver to awaken body-mind awareness.  It is characterized by slow moving, continuous stretching strokes that create an energetic circuit to relax muscles and calm the mind.  Influenced by meditation, gestalt, breath-work, sensory awareness, structural integration, natural movement, yoga mind-body psychology, lomi-lomi and polarity.
Benefits of Esalen® massage are relaxation, reduction of pain, increased movement, deepened breath, enhanced circulation, calm mind, release of stored emotions, connection with self, and feelings of wholeness.
