Other methods include acupressure, Tui Na/Shiatsu, cupping, moxa/heat therapy, Tai Chi/Qi  Gong,nutrition, and mind-body awareness techniques.

Treatments are aimed at relieving symptoms, eliminating pathogenic factors, balancing the body systems, and proactively reinforcing core strength and vitality. She believes in using a holistic approach with natural therapies to enhance the bodyʼs innate healing power and establish proper balance. Her goal is to help people get well, stay healthy, and live life to its fullest potential.

Laura became interested in acupuncture and holistic therapies while completing her B.S. in Life Sciences/Biology at Kansas State University. It was there she realized that we contain a wealth of natural resources, within ourselves and our ecosystem, which may be used to improve our overall condition and well-being. She studied  Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in New Mexico, and earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicineʼ by the N.C.C.A.O.M., and is a ʻLicensed  Acupuncturistʼ in California and Florida.

She joined us from her practice at the Integrative Medicine Centre in Fairhope, AL, and enjoys skiing/snowboarding, hiking, travel, SCUBA diving, dance, live music, and festivals.
